Need opinions
This is our first family trip and DS6 is very anxious to get to the magic
kingdom.
We arrive 10/1 and depart 10/7- so my 2 options for MNSSHP are Sunday 10/2 and Thurs 10/6.
If I choose 10/2- it will be our first full day in the parks. Since my son is so anxious to get to a park we would probably go to MK first thing- maybe stay 2 hours and go back to POR to rest then hit the party later. Would that be too much???
Second option- if we go on 10/6, we have to leave the next day. What time is checkout??? Out fllight does not leave until 9:45 pm. Do you think that would be too hard of a day having to checkout early after being up so late then still having hours to spend before our flight????

)!
My family will be at POR Oct 1 - Oct 8 as well, so I'll give you my two cents worth. We chose Oct 2 because it's a Sunday and because I was worried that the Thursday and Friday parties would be getting crowded with locals and guests coming in for the Columbus Day weekend.
Have fun!
I would choose hanging out by the pool, or other relaxing type activities. I would also bring something to put all your trick or treat candy in, LOL! Last year we got a TON!
Usually on our trip to MNSSHP, we stay at the resort and rest all day. Then we hit the park, and stay until closing. It makes for a long day if you go to the park during the day.
