I keep seeing everyone saying that you need a wristband to go. We will be arriving the day before our party so there will only be one party while we are there. Hoping to get there by 4 to get our wristbands.

BUT, it got me wondering. What stops people from just keeping the wristband on and going to multiple parties if there's more than one party on during their vacation? I noticed some weeks, there are multiple parties in the same week.

Yes, there are different color wristbands on different nights.

I'm sure the colors repeat eventually so if your there long enough and during the times where there are many parties in a week this may be possible but you would have to get the right night.

Actually most years I have kept my bracelet in tact, they CMs never put them on tight enough and I can just slide them off.

It depends on the CM and your wrist size. I had one that put it on too tight (i.e., tight enough that it couldn't rotate around my wrist at all) and had to ask her to re-do it because I wanted to be able to have the skin breathe underneath the band.

Does this get enforced? can someone go to MK in the daytime and just stay in there and watch the parade and fireworks during the party?

Yes, it is very enforced. The CM's won't let you on rides; station themselves at rest rooms and store entrances to keep the non-party goers headed toward the exit.

Very much so. Yes, the CMs will politely funnel folks without a wrist band out of the park well before the parade and fireworks start. At 7 pm, folks without a wrist band are not allowed to get into any attraction lines, enter the stores, and (according to reports) enter into bathrooms. The CMs often form "human chains" across the walkways so you cannot bypass them. They have flash lights as well to continue checking for wrist bands as it gets dark. They also check as folks wait for the parade.

There have been several threads about this lately. Here is a link to one of them:
