Just because I'm super excited about this year...here are some of my favorite shots from last year...

OK, so my question is, DH and I are thinking of buying tickets for Sept. 16 or 19th, but our kids are grown and will not be there with us. Do adults go to MNSSHP without children? Do you dress up? Anyone here gone without kids? Would love to hear about it!
Can anyone who went to the first party of 2008 help us out with this, and also the best strategy for meet and greets?
How crowded do you guys think MNSSHP will be on Sep 16th?
Where is the schedule of events? I looked on page one and saw a map...what times are the parades and fireworks? This will be our first. I need help with a plan here
I LOVE ALL OF THE PHOTOS FOLKS ARE POSTING!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!
Can anyone give some advice on the best meet and great strategies and Cindy's Carriage for 2008 (which I believe is still there)?
Can anyone tell me what time the characters come out in costume and trick or treating begins? I know that you can get into the park at 4 and that official start time is 7. We have Liberty Tavern Character dining at 7:05 pm on the night we are attending the party. I was wondering if we'll be able to do any meet and greets or trick or treating before our dinner?
"Also, I would never ever eat at a sit down meal during the party. The party is too expensive and way too much fun, with so much to try and do that I'd make my meal end by 7:00p at the latest."
This is what we'd planned to do and have an ADR for Crystal Palace at about 5PM the day of the party. I'm beginning to question even doing this, tho, because I'm afraid my 5yo may ruin her costume while she's eating. I'm thinking maybe just eat at the resort before we head over to MK for the party. But what time should we try to get there (assuming we cancel the dinner ADR)? We have regular park tix for that day so we could go whenever we like. Will there be a mad crush to get in at 7:00?
Thanks, beattyfamily. I was really undecided about the dinner but hated to give it up - I felt really lucky to get such a good ADR time. I figure with the 4:55 time I got, we should finish dinner about a half hour or so before the party begins. If we're gonna need to get to the park about that time to avoid the crowds arriving at 7, we'll probably end up eating dinner there anyway. So I think we'll just keep our ADR. I'll just have to figure out a way to protect DD's costume. Thanks again.![]()
I am guessing the lines for the HM could get long during the party. I know there are photo ops by the HM, do you have to be inline to ride the HM to get the pics, or is there a separate line for those?
Can you get those photopass pics at other times too? Are there any special party photo ops that are only available during the party (besides all of the character spots? I mean like the HM with ghosts.
