MNSSHP Fri 9/29 or Mon 10/2

Thre are two parties during our trip and we are trying to decide which one to attend. Is the opening night crowded (9/29 - this year)? Would going the last night of our vacation be a bad idea with a 7:45am Magical express to airport?

We went to the first night of MNSSHP last year and it wasn't very crowded. I think I read somewhere that they actually added on earlier days in September so that 9/29 isn't even the first night of the party. I don't think I would go on your last night if you have to leave so early in the AM.

We are also at WDW during these dates and wondering which date to choose from. We opted on 9/29 for planning reasons. But I am still wondering about Friday night crowds.....
