MNSSHP entry time - conflicting info

We have tickets for the 9/22 MNSSHP. It's my understanding that we can enter the park as early as 4PM on our ticket. This is not stated on the tickets mailed to us, and the Disney website does not seem to specify this. I have, however, seen this on many blogs. A relative is supposed to meet us there, and is opting not to because they said they called Disney and were told that they wouldn't be able to enter until 7PM. I told her to call back, as this does not seem right.

Can anyone confirm and point to a Disney "official" resource that states the 4PM entry time?

3. Also correct.
4. Because it's accurate - you can definitely enter at 4:00.
5. That's not surprising.
6. Calling Disney is useless, phone CMs are notorious for giving out incorrect information.
7. Nope. But with Disney, just because it's official doesn't mean it's accurate. The website is full of information that is flat out wrong. It's as bad as the phone CMs.

I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with a CM who told me she has been working there for 3 years and she couldn't accurately answer my question about MNSSHP. It's unfortunate, but like you the information was on the internet and I was trying to confirm it. In the end I called back and spoke to someone who was more familiar with the information and was able to quickly and accurately answer my information. Good luck, and I think you will be fine entering at 4.

4pm. Disney will tell you it's not, but it is. The times are like the pirates code "more of a guideline"! The 4pm entry and 7pm party start time gives Disney a grace period in which to get the day guests out and party guests in. So get there early! It's 4 pm entry, 6/7 pm party start. Does that help?

The 7pm is official so that if the park is at capacity pre-party (never has happened that I know of) then people can't be upset when they get told they can't come in. It is one of those things where if they choose to one year they could deny entry until 7 but the tickets do start scanning at 4.
