MNSSHP entry and park hoppers

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but we've never had PH before so a little confirmation wouldn't hurt.
On our party day we're having an early lunch at DHS and riding maybe 2 rides. I was planning to head back to the resort to rest until 4 pm. But, since we have PHs we can head to MK around 2:30 or 3 to avoid the 4 pm crush right?

FYI there really isnt a 4pm rush from the times I have gone. Just my opinion

Granted we haven't been to WDW since 2011, but every time we've gone to MNSSHP at 4 there has been a lot of party goers entering. Nothing like a morning crowd, but certainly more than a run of the mill 4:00 crowd. In any case, if I can avoid ANY line I will plus we get extra time at the MK this way, win/win!
