I just got off the telephone with DVC Member Services. If anyone is wondering, here are the 2009 dates for MNSSHP nights that have DVC-discounted MNSSHP tickets (not yet posted on the member website):

September 2009:
4, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29

October 2009:
1, 6

Great! DH and I are going on Sept. 25th! It's been about 4-5 years since DH has been to one, but I went last year with a DGF and she just sent me a disc with her pictures. MNSSHP are so much fun and the parade has some awesome characters, like the dancing partners from the Haunted Mansion, the grave diggers, and the pirates.

There are just so many reasons why I keep thinking of our WDW vacations and the fun we're going to have!:yay:

Thanks for posting those dates. I was wondering when they were going to be released being that tomorrow the tickets go on sale.

Thank you so much for posting this!! We were planning for the 25th as well! Great news!! :cool1:

Ok- I just realized, I don't know how to order them- do I call MS or do I call somewhere else? Just want to make sure I get the discount, and this is the first time we're doing something like this as members!

Thank you!:goodvibes

Is there any chance that they may add more dates for DVC discount in Oct ?? - Like the 20th or 22nd ??:rolleyes1

I wish! We won't be going until the last week of October.

I haven't see additional dates added in previous years, once the intial schedule was released. However, I'd be happy to be wrong about that!

What are the chances that this year's prices will be more in check with the economy? ha ha....
ah....remember just a few years ago when an adult could go for $21.95 and all of the treats were so large and yummy!! Oh yeah...and there was a limit of about 5 - 10K people in the park that night instead of one million! As I recall last year it was $60 each and not so large and yummy treats, and about 1.5 million people. It is sad that Disney has become so greedy.....The early years of MNSSHP were great!!

They added date for MVMCP last year so yes, I think there is a chance that they might add dates for Halloween, too.

This is very good news!!! We will be there on Sept 11th prior to going on the 2009 Members cruise. I am going to call MS tomorrow and buy our tickets. Thank you so much for sharing...love the DIS!!!

hmmmm, I was going to wait until the week of the see how the weather shaped up, but maybe I'd better jump on those discounted tix.

Is there a set number of DVC discounted tix for those dates, or will the discount be available as long as the nght hasn't sold out?

It's difficult to believe that one could get into MNSSHP for $22!! We dropped $150 last year for 2 adults and 1 child. However, I will say, in terms of candy, we walked away with a boatload of candy (and the GOOD stuff too - LOL). It was still a wonderful time and at least there is some discount with DVC, so that's a positive.

You can (and, given the unpredictible weather in September, should) do this. Your ticket is considered an "advance purchase" if you buy the day before the party. And, since tickets rarely sell out until the peak times, you will be fine with waiting.

Thank you again! We just ordered our tix this morning! Can't wait!! It's our first time attending the halloween party

I purchased our tickets yesterday as well and i was told to pick them up at will call has anybody else done this before?i'm nervous just going with only a confirmation number

What are the costs of the tickets with the DVC discount for adults adn children? Thank you!
