MNSSHP dates change again ?

I spoke to a cast member at 407-WDW-CREW to make my DD8 a reservation at the Pirate's League just a little bit ago and she said they were given the dates of the MNSSHP today, and that tickets would be on sale April 30. Hopefully that is correct. She looked up the dates I was planning to attend and confirmed that there were parties scheduled on that day.

Well, I called the Pirate's League number, so maybe that is the difference. That CM said they were given the dates today. I don't think she would have any reason to lie to me Maybe you got someone in a different building, or a contract worker (I have heard that some of the dining reservation people are contract work-at-home types) that maybe does not have access to the same information?

I do know I mentioned that we were going to the MNSSHP for the first time, and she said "Great! We just got the dates on that today!", and I replied that I had been doing my planning based on park hours on the website. She asked me what dates we were planning on going, I told her and she looked them up and said those were good guesses because they were both on the list of official dates. I do know disney can change these dates any time, and sometimes they have even after tickets were sold, but I do think the CM I spoke to had the information. HTH

This may change my June trip, too. So I hope we know soon.

I am really hoping to attend TWO parties during our Labor Week trip. We are also attending the first Night of Joy - but we were most excited about the MNSSHP parties.

We have been planning this trip for over a year already and my trip mates will be THRILLED if these dates are truly added.

If they add back MNSSHP dates, then I may take back my plans to buy a Universal AP with that money in June. Maybe. I was planning to go to Universal instead of the MNSSHP - if they don't have it.

Otherwise, we have costumes picked out and everything for the MNSSHP!!

So...come on Disney! Let's have at least ONE party over Labor Day week!!!

I have been following the threads regarding date for MNSSHP for September since we will be at WDW from 9/4-9/13. We had planned to do a party on 9/8 which juding by the calendar appeared would be a party date. I know after many were prepared for the first party on 9/3 it then became apparent by the calendar that it would not be until 9/14. I just looked at the calendar thsi A.M. and it looks like 9/3 and 9/8 again show MK closing at 7:00 P.M. whcih would indicate a party! Still no official word!

Just wondering if any of you guys have the link to the calendar?

I'm looking at OCT 21-27 and the hours look the same to me [is MK really open until 2 am the 23rd?].

This is our first halloween party trip....am I correct in thinking that the nights MK closes @ 7 are the party nights?

The parks can close early for reasons other than parties. Maybe on one or both of those dates there is a private event going on for a convention. I wouldn't speculate based on the hours on the calendar. I would wait until the tickets go on sale and see what dates they are actually selling them for.

I notice also that the 17th has reverted back to closing at 7 pm and the 18th to 11 pm. Is it possible an older calendar version was uploaded accidently during an update? I hope this schedule stays, as is it allows us two chances to go to MNSSHP. It also would alleviate my concerns about going to the first party of the year and finding it crowded.

Well now they are just toying with me!!! I just told DNeph this weekend the bad news about our 9/3 party being cancelled and he was upset that he couldn't do his Hades costume (he had it all planned out). I had begged DD and DSis into letting me keep their kids an extra day so we could go to the first party when I thought it was on the 3rd - we LOVE MNSSHP!!
Now there is actually another chance! I'm not saying another word to the kids until the official dates come out this time. I am re-crossing my toes and fingers and praying for pixie dust - please do the early parties!!

I was so disappointed (and the kids) when the time changed a couple of weeks ago

I was praying that that press release that said the party was starting on Sept 14 was a old press release since it did have a year on it

lets hope this calender sticks and we could finally make plans

This really aggravating! When they say they are going to publish hours 180 days in advance who would know the September calendar would keep flip flopping between 2 versions. Makes planning really difficult!
