MNSSHP crowds so far?

I was there the same night and felt the same way. The character lines were a bit heavy, but rides were great.

Overall, it was very light, but there were storms from about 3:30pm until 5:00 or so that night, so that may have affected it.

Oh man, do I know that. We had just gotten out of "The Land" when it started to rain and I of course had forgotten my poncho. We had 4:30 reservations at Via Napoli and I figured it would stop in plenty of time. Boy I was wrong. I had to walk from the land pavilion to Italy in that downpour. Completely soaked! My wife felt terrible (as she walked in her poncho) :thumbsup2

We were there last night, Friday Oct. 1st. I was so suprised but it seemed like the crowds were extremely light. We had NO wait on ANY ride! Walked right on to everything. The longest line we experienced was maybe 15 in line to take pics of the 7 drawfs. I guess we picked an awesome night to go!!! We stayed for the second parade and only lined up 15 min before it started. We were directly on main street and had plenty of room. Walked right into Tony's at 5 and ate dinner without reservations. Loved the party!!! Its so worth the money. :thumbsup2

I was on Splash Mountain on the 28th when it started raining it was soo funny watching everyone huddle under any little ledge DFi and I we just walked through the parks with no ponchos on and enjoyed it lol and were dancing and singing joyfully. Though we did go back to the hotel for our rain jackets and water shoes and went to Epcot and did some various things including taking the boat to Beaches n Cream mm!:wizard:

We went on the 21st and I thought it was busy. We made an early dinner in CRT for 4:25 so we'd be ready to go. It's weird, the rides weren't all that packed....most did not have a wait and those that did had a 10 min wait tops. But the park seemed very busy. The parade route was busy, but that's to be expected.

All in all though, it was very manageable and VERY worth going. I would do it again in a heartbeat. it was a blast.

That's funny - I was there the 21st and thought it wasn't crowded at all. I got a great spot to view the first parade about 10 minutes before it started, the trick or treat lines were no waiting, the rides were no waiting . . .the only waits I saw were for the free face painting, and for the characters. I'm not a big "photo with the characters" kind of person, so I skipped that altogether. I didn't even have a crowded bus back to my resort (BWV) when I left.

Of course, my view could be skewed because I was just there in July when it was wall to wall people everywhere - so by comparison it probably felt more empty than it was. I imagine it will only get more crowded the closer to halloween it gets.

This was my first halloween party and although I liked it, I think I prefer the Christmas party.

We were there on 9/30 and I was worried it would be packed because we talked to several people who were supposed to go on 9/28 and were able to swap their tickets for 9/30 thanks to the crazy rain. But I found it to be very tolerable. We only found spots for the parade about 10 minutes before and had no problems. We never waited in line much. Face painting and Cinderella's coach were the longest waits for us but both were of vital importance to my five year old!

i attended MNSSHP twice. i just got back from WDW two days ago (the depression is setting in! ) i did a party on saturday which was MUCH more crowded than last thursdays MNSSHP. I think in general the weekend parties are MUCH BUSIER than the ones during the week
