MNSSHP Costumes!

Okay first do they have that dress in adult sizes? lol. When I went to MNSSHP we had 5 in our party 1 youngster and we dressed up as characters from the FLintstones. Lot of fun we dressed the stroller up as the dinosaur too.:rotfl: SO no it dosent matter if it isn't Disney

I was dying of the heat....had fun and the characters loved it but....I thought I would pass out the first few hours

ommigosh - you poor thing! That costume is the cutest but looks more like something we would wear up here in this neck of the woods for Halloween. I'm glad you made it through the party!

I posted this question previously on another thread, but didn't get a great response. DH wants to dress as a character who carries a walking stick (Harry Dresden, for those of you familiar with the genre, and yes, we like our costumes obscure, we're weird like that). Do you think Disney would have a problem with him taking a 1 inch thick, 5 foot tall natural wood stick into the parks or would it be confiscated? Also, any ideas how one might transport such an item on a plane?

Last time we went to MNSSHP we were the 10th Doctor and Rose (see obscurity comment above). We had more than one CM stop us to tell us how much they appreciated the costumes, and one who made fun of DH for wearing tennis shoes with his pinstiped suit. I still love my pink 'Bad Wolf' tank top.

I can't help you with the plane question, but I can't imagine Disney would mind you taking it in - its no different from someone who really needs one taking it in.

You guys are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend and I are hoping to go to WDW in September. We would be going to MNSSHP for the first time. She said she has a pirate costume she can wear. She is stick thin, so she will be a great pirate. However, when I stand next to her, I look like a beached whale! (I'm not that big- somewhat overweight, but next to a toothpick, I look horrible!)

I'm trying to figure out a costume as well! You all have fantastic ideas! I found a costume online of ALice from Tim Burton's movie, but I'm afraid, this year, that will be really over done. (Besides, the Large might be snug!) Anyway, I'm still working on that! Can't wait to see all your ideas!

My sister and I are going the second week of October. We would love to be Musketeers so I am hoping the weather is not too hot! We're trying to come up with simple, cooler costumes just in case.

I LOVE THESE! Keep sharing your pictures, definitely subscribing!

We plan to do MNSSHP this year, but don't know who we will dress up as. DH is super duper skinny, so Jack and Sally would be an option...but it may be too hot... and I can't stand that movie! :scared1:

*hides from flames*

Mom and I are thinking of doing Thing 1 and Thing 2. OR tweedledee and tweedledum. Last year we were hippies. I just don't like carrying a bunch of stuff in my suitcase-especially with the prices for luggage to fly.:scared1:
We will just wait til the last minute like always....:rotfl:
