My completely UN-FUN parents dressed up normal and called themselves "Muggles"!

LOL, I LOVE that! Knowing some of my family members, they would do the same thing. The only difference is those particular family members don't even know what a muggle is!

Anyone have any ideas for a family of three for our first year? DD is 4 and we wanted us to be Tinkerbelle (DD4), Wendy (me) and Peter Pan (DH), but DH vetoed that idea QUICK!!!! I think he doesn't see it possible for Peter Pan to have a costume that's not REALLY SUPER TIGHT green tights!!!! I saw a man in a previous pic as Peter Pan and LOVED it!!!! But DH won't go for it!!!

Any other suggestions? DD would really like to do something Disney-themed, so we'd want to do Disney characters and would like all three of us to go together.

I'm in the same boat, but there are 4 of us and DH is 'no' to everything.... how about Woody, Jessie, and Little Bo Peep? He could just wear jeans, western shirt, and hat.

I'm trying to get my Guy to dress up as the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who, and then drag him to Epcot for a photoshoot in one of the phone booths. (Yes, I know it's not a Police booth, but I can't resist.)

I'm still at a loss as to what -I- should go as, but he's totally jazzed to be the Doctor. I want to get him a t-shirt that says "not that kind of doctor" to wear underneath.

I'm not sure how involved his costume would be, or how obvious it would be, but Disney does not allow adults in costume outside the hard ticketed events. So you might have some trouble with the Epcot plan.....

We're going for the first time this year and I've got our costumes lined up, just need to procure them!

I will be going as Linda Flynn-Fletcher, DH will be Ferb, DS will be Phineas, and DD will be Candace! I already have DS's clothes for Phineas and the white skirt for DD. Just have to find a yellow sweatervest and a pink tank top!

This one is from 2008 with another of my friends. We took this one ourselves waiting for the MK bus at All-Star Music. I was Lucky Star Madonna and she was MTV Like A Virgin Performance Madonna!

Wow, these costumes are all great! The night we went, it was scorching hot, so we scaled back for the heat. I think we're going to go all out for this year's, though.

I loved everyone's pictures...they're all so fun...and a great motivator for this year!

Go as one of the Doctor's "assistants"- you can wear whatever you want pretty much, but you can still "match". If you go to Think Geek dot com, they've got some cool Doctor shirts (You'll always remember your first doctor) as well as sonic screwdrivers from the last two...

So here are three from our past vacations.
2012 was our first. My husband was Peter Pan and I was a Fairy. (Tried to plan from my deployment in Afghanistan and got started late and couldn't find a Tinkerbell in my size.)
2013 I did better, with both of us as Pirates.
and 2015, I chose Cruella de Vil, love the hair, and a Datamation for my man.
This year we are going as Sally and Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas.
