Hello.......
Can anyone tell me where DH and I can get a Disney Halloween t-shirt of some sort? Its gonna be hot I assume and a costume would be too hot. Also where can we get those silly hats they sell in Disney before we go?
Any website suggestions?
Thanks.......
or any costume suggestions? We are a group of 9 going including 5 children.

you could try laughingplacestore.com

I've seen so many cute costume ideas for groups. Pick a theme, let's say 101 Dalmations, Mom could be Cruella Deville and everyone else could be dalmations. Once you pick a theme it can be a lot of fun.

Not sure about the tshirts, but last year we went as mouseketeers. We wore plain white tshirts that I put our names on the front and the design from the original shirts on the back, the girls wore blue skirts, the boys shorts and we bought Mickey ears for everyone. It's not a very original idea, but they were comfortable to wear all night and helped us get into the mood of the event.

WDW sell t-shirts each year with the MNSSHP design on it. DD and I bought them and changed into them. Very cute shirts!

We ordered shirts from Disneyshopping.com--they have ones you can design yourself. They have several images to pick from where the characters are dressed up in Halloween garb. You can put names on them if you wish. They're called "you-design-it Tees". Hope that helps.

? for those of you who've been to MNSSHP, is everyone usually in costume?

I would say it is a 50/50 split. Obviously, more younger children are dressed up, but there are plenty of older folk too! Also, the closer you get to Halloween , I believe more people will be in costume. It really helps you get into the spirit of things (although some teens just don't get it and give you strange looks while you are riding IASW). I'm already trying to figure out what we are going to do this year....it has got to be cool and comfortable.

Thank you :) Exactly the kind of info I was looking for. We've done the Christmas party & loved that. It was easy dressing in Christmas-y outfits.

The Halloween party always sounds like so much fun that I was thinking a quick October trip might be a good plan for this year. Just wasn't sure if we would feel out of place if we didn't dress in costume (not sure if I can convince my 23 year old that would be a fun thing to do!).

To quote myself from another thread...

DH & I will be there on 9/22! He veto'd the costume idea but is ok with matching shirts. I started on them yesterday (downloaded some clipart, bought some iron-on transfer paper, and bought cheap tshirts at ACMoore) and I'll probably make a lime green button/name-tag for myself. This will be our first MNSSHP and I'm so excited I'm on the DIS and other sites looking for more info/pics every day! Is it September yet?!! :bitelip:

Hey Amy......
We'll be there Sept 22nd too!!! Maybe we'll see each other there!!! LOL
I'm looking for ideas for us i don't know what to do.
Let me know if you get any good ones.
Thanks
Karen
