Well, it's that time of the year, time to think of a Halloween Costume :scared1:. This will be our second time doing the MNSSHP. Last year, being our first year; we didn't know what to expect so we just wore Halloween shirts. This year I'd like to dress up. We will be doing the September 16th party :stir:. I can't really decide on anything, so I was hoping for some suggestions and pictures of all of your past and present costumes. I know Diser's have to have some great costumes :thumbsup2

Please share and let's all start getting excited for MNSSHP 2014 !!! :dance3:

We are going as Cruella and the dalmations. We are going on the Sept. 9th party.

I would go as Cruella in the dalmatian coat she had planned. Gloat and laugh manically at everyone. Villains are the new heroes, after all; by then Disney may have made a movie showing that the little flea bags had it coming to them. :maleficen

We will be there on that same night. We are going as old school Mouseketeers. Remember that it is still September so any costume should be ready to handle the weather. That's one reason I didn't go with my first costume choice, the Joker from the Dark Knight. Plus my wife hated it.:confused3

:thumbsup2 I really, really wanted to go as Big Daddy and dress my daughter up as Hit Girl but I knew that wouldn't go over very well either.

I don't have photos but I went as a black cat one year since it was easy to put on and not a hassle on rides. The next time I went as a glow stick person but everyone thought we looked like characters from some movie I think. I hadn't heard of it before so I don't remember the name but tons of dads were so excited we dressed as these "characters".

ETA: It was Tron. I remembered just as I posted.

In past years we've done:

-Tink(bought from store) Peter Pan (easy homemade) and a Pirate (store bought)

The next year Mom & I dressed up as Alice (custom from etsy) and she put together a little handmade White Rabbit costume. We both got a lot of attention from people in the parks (I had a few kids think I was the real Alice...whoops) and we even ended up accidentally sitting beside a Mad Hatter during the parade!

That same year I lent my Tink costume to the bff, and my Mom remade my grad dress into a Periwinkle costume (the leggings ended up not working out but it still worked! lol)

I then did Wendy (custom off etsy)that I had a good time with, it was nice to be staying cool at the party!

And later in the trip Mom homemade a Peter Pan for herself, I had a cosplayer make a Tink for me, and Mom's friend bought/homemade a Cruella. I really liked the Tink, although it was a teeny bit too short, but I managed to fix that for October with green shorts underneath. My Mom had a BLAST as Peter, earlier in the week we talked about costumes with him and he made her crow, and the nigh of the party she fought captain hook & it's one of her favourite memories. Anne was LIVING as Cruella, she was so into it, we found numerous "puppies" of hers throughout the parties and they all stopped to pose for pictures and it was just so much fun!

This coming year we have a TON of parties planned, we REALLY like Halloween, and planned a much longer trip for September to have some Seaworld & Universal days, and the trip ended up actually spanning over 4 parties!! :cool1:
Party #1 will still be a surprise,

party #2 is going to be a bunch of Disney fairies (Rosetta, Zarina, Terrance & Periwinkle) Peri & Terrance are custom made off etsy, Ro is being homemade, and I'm not sure about Zarina.

Party #3 is completely random, kinda just whatever costumes we have kicking around. Paige got an AWESOME ToT bellhop dress that she's going to wear, Steven's being Flynn, Amy's doing Minnie, and I'm reusing the Esemerlda I wore at the 24 hr event (again, off etsy)

The 4th party we're sticking back to a theme with the 3 bimbettes & Gaston from beatuy & the beast. The bimbette costumes were custom made by a girl who used to work costuming on the show so they look PERFECT.
