MNSSHP 2012 Official Information

I'd like to meet both Mickey & Minnie in costume and the 7 Dwarfs... trying to decide who to line up to meet first. I'm thinking the Dwarfs? Any advice?

Definitely Dwarves first, and no later than 6:00p is my suggestion.

Okay, 6:00 is what I was planning on.

Now I'm wondering if I should head to Mickey and Minnie immediately after or wait. Does their crowd ever die down, or should I just go and get it over with since it's important to me?

You should plan for 5:30
We met Mickey and Minnie back to back to see both sets of costumes right after second parade with zero wait.

Oh, wow - okay! It's back at the parade entrance where Woody normally meets by Splash Mountain?

No, back more towards the exit to Splash Mountain. They appear back behind the train station, so you go underneath it and on the right side. Woody and Jessie both appear here now--they used to meet where you are talking about by the parade entrance/exit.

You can certainly line up at 5:30p or before, obviously how early you line up determines how fast you are done with them once they appear at 7:00p. You should ask CMs in the area where the line is or where it should form if you are first.

Okay, thanks - I'm glad I asked! I could just see myself at the parade entrance at 5:30... "Yay! I'm first!" An hour and a half later... "Where are the dwarfs???" :rotfl: That wouldn't have been a good start to the night!

Anyone know if Columbus Day is traditionally a packed party date?

Columbus Day weekend is very busy. I would exepct the party preceding Columbus Day to be very busy. But Columbus Day itself is a Monday, so no, I wouldn't expect it to be packed. I'd pick it myself if I were going that week.

Good, we went on that sold out last Friday of Sept party and I gotta say, I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have. I took my little sister and her BF for their first ever party and was kind of sad the crowds weren't smaller. It was the only party they could attend as they flew down on Thursday and left Sunday afternoon.

We went on Sunday to MNSSHP! We arrived to the park around 5 and headed straight to the 7 dwarfs area. They had just closed off the Woody/Jessie meet as we got there. A few minutes later they opened up the line for the 7 dwarfs and we were the first family. The dwarfs didn't begin to arrive until around 7:15-7:20. When we finished there, the queue went all the way towards the fast pass of Big Thunder MT.

Is it possible to see and do everything at the party in one night?

We didn't even get to half of what we had hoped.

Everything we did see and do was excellent and we really enjoyed what we did!!!!!

We MISSED Wishes, the Villian show, Stitch's Dance Party, Woody's Dance Party, Tarzan, Pooh and gang, Jack Sparrow, Tink and Periwinkle, Aurora, Lotso, Phinneas and Ferb, Tremaines, Gaston, Tiana and Naveen,
Buzz, Merida, and Aladdin. Also missed the photopass spot for the haunted carriage.

It did rain, but the rain didn't affect us. We were at the right places at the right time when it rained. Walking it was a light rain and we had umbrellas. We left the park at 11:30pm

May I suggest you follow up this post with a glass-half-full view? ;)

I'd rather hear what you WERE able to do (other than the 7Ds), and it might be helpful to other followers of this thread.
