MNSSHP 2012 Official Information

We bought our tickets for October 4th. We printed them out on our printer. My question for anyone who can give me an answer, do we have to have another ticket? Like a hard official Disney ticket, or will the print out from our printer be okay? P.S. I would much rather have a hard ticket, so does anyone know where or how I can acquire them?
Thanks so much!

So very excited! My Fiance and I just got our tickets for the Oct 21 party!! It's our honeymoon and we will have been married exactly 8 days!

Someone else on the board mentioned that MNSSHP are the only nights that they let you into the park in wedding attire. My fiance and I were going to wear our wedding stuff (he won't wear his suit jacket) as our "costumes" to try and get a few wedding photos in the park. Do you think this would be okay? I have seen people in wedding dresses before, but they looked a little more costumey.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like fun but I would be concerned about getting costume makeup, candy, spilt drinks on my wedding dress.

I'd be afraid to get something on it

We're a group of 12 with tickets for the 25th. However, we're all kinda struggling with what to do for costumes. I began thinking maybe we could do a group thing, but the ideas are still lacking. I cannot believe we're all so indecisive

Do you get a character guide of who is going to be there and where? It's our first party and I don't wanna miss anything!

No. Follow this board after the first party for the particulars. Posts from Berlioz70 and mickeyhunter and their sites excel at this.

We bought tickets for October 28th. We were supposed to go last year daughter had health problems and had to sell our tickets and postpone trip. There are seven of us going so excited!!

Quick question that I was unable to find an answer for yet. Sorry in advance if I've missed it. So the party is on a day that I had planned as a day off from the parks. DH and I are AP holders but the rest of our party will be on the military 4 day hoppers. Will going in just for the party use a whole day of their tickets or is this totally different? I've never done a party. thanks!

Be sure to let the rest of your party know that the Military usually have special prices for MNSSHP for certain days.

Okay, here are our photos from last year.... I did find an exact long jacket like hers at goodwill so it will look even more authentic. Here in AZ it can still be really hot during halloween so the heat isnt a problem. DH has a coat as well, he just took it off for the photo and he has lost about 60 lbs. ( He was on prednisone for an auto imune disease he has) My kids DD 10 will be Jane, I made her a dress and DS 8 will be Michael. They both have vintage style clothing... Dont know if Ill be wearing the shoes though... High heel boots in a park just might kill me. I have mary jane style shoes that Mary Poppins wears as well and are much more comfortable. We'll be there OCT 4th so if you see us say hi! :thumbsup2

Soooooo cute!! Hope your DH is better!! My FORMER Rheumatologist pulsated me with Prednisone, I know it's not fun (the mood swings and weight gain, ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!)

There is special discount pricing for persons eligible For Armed Forces Salute Tickets.

Valid the following nights only:

September 11, 14, 18, 21, 25 and 28
$37.77 Adult / $36.37 Ages 3-9 (plus tax)

These must be purchased in person at any Park (including water parks, TTC 0or DTD) Ticket or Guest Relations window. They are not available at SoG/MWR/ITT, by phone or Internet.

The limit is the service member plus five Guests for any party. Purchases may be made for multiple nights.

I'm thinking the answer is no, but does the service member have to attend the party with guests? Once issued, are the party tickets just "regular" tickets or will we be asked for military ID later?

If we attend we'll likely split our party in two so one group can do childcare while the other attends and vice versa. The second group may not have a military ID holder with them during the party.

The tickets do not take demographic information as the Armed Forces Salute tickets do. And there is no request for proof of eligibility when you go through the turnstiles.

So this will be our first MNSSHP on Thurs Oct 11th. Will it be extremely crowded or do you think we will be able to stroll around the park and take character pics/get candy when we come to them without rushing? I have no idea what to expect but i'm pretty excited :cool1:

We are also going to be there on the 11th!! I'm excited also!!

The last time we went it was in October and the crowds weren't bad at all. We were able to get lots of candy and we didn't have to rush at all. Of course we got there pretty early, but even as it got later the crowds weren't bad at all!!

Does anyone know if there's any historical precedent for them adding dates? We arriving 9/14 at night and leave on 9/18 mid-day. Would have loved to get to this, but it looks like we just miss. Any chance at a change?

Dates are pretty firm.
