On a side note I'm wondering why all our experiences with ordering these tickets, especially on the phone, are so varied ? We've got people not being offered will call, people offered it if you ask, tickets being sent out free of charge, charged for postage etc Yesterday it seemed a lottery as to whether a CM said you could even buy the tickets,.
I had trouble locating it too... but I finally figured it out! Go to the page for MNSSHP and then select the Book Your Vacation yellow tab across the top banner.
When the popup opens select tickets. It's the only ticket link I found that gave you a special events option. From there you can buy tickets - INCLUDING September 25th, which I just bought and printed!
Be careful - it defaults with general park tickets also in your shopping cart, just remove them.
I dont think that, outside of the late October nights, any night is going to be capacity, the pricing is just to try fill out the non-weekend nights. The 30th September is, I think, to try give Disney 5 weeks (essentially October) of premium Sundays rather than 4, because of how Halloween drops. I don't think planning for larger crowds due to Epcot 30th is a big factor.
I love Epcot but I dont think that any 30th would be as big a crowd puller as the 40th for Magic Kingdom/WDW was.
Thanks for the info! I ended up giving up because I had to go to work but, my DH called back later and ended up talking to someone who knew how to get around the problems they were having. We got our tickets, finally!![]()
I think that Sept 30th will be busy for a number of reasons.
- It's a Sunday, not a weeknight
- EPCOT celebration
- Runners, and friends/family in town for Sat. night run
- Tower of Terror fanatics in town for run/after party, who love Halloween.
- Far enough into the school year that parents are comfortable pulling kids out of school
- beginning of Food and Wine
- when I called through DVC the person I spoke had only sold tickets for the 30th so far, mine for the 28th were the first different ones.
