Mnsshp 2007 Designs....

My dd and I are leaving in 4 days for our first party 9/14 and have decided against costumes b/c of the humidity. We are making shirts and t or t bags. I went to Michaels and got the bags too. We will probably do a screenprint on the bag and back of shirts, but for the front they had adorable crystal sayings you can iron on. We got "ghouls night out" in green crystals, along with a couple ghosts, witches, etc to iron on. What would anyone suggest for the screenprint on the back? Is there a cute design of the haunted mansion? I don't have photoshop, so I am looking for a pic online I can use. Kinda like print it out, iron it on. Thanks for anyones help.

I have a haunted mansion one on my webpage under "Walt Disney World" section. There are also Halloween ones under "Holidays". Hope this helped! Just save to your computer and print to iron on - Easy!

Raising hand to take blame as a horible influence  :rotfl2: Those bags came out GREAT! I mean I don't mind sharing my idea... but did you have to do a better job then me??? :rotfl:

Last year at MNSSHP I can't tell you how many times one of my kids would ask for their treat bag and when I handed it to them they opened it up and said "this one is not mine". HOW DO THEY KNOW??? We all got the same candy!! But kids have a bizzare 6th Sense when it comes to their stuff. Anyway, when I saw the bags in Michaels I knew what needed to be done... Plus... the talented DISers just have way too many nice designs and I couldn't choose just ONE for a shirt... more projects were needed. So I TOO am a victim the horrible influence of the DISers!!!

This is all 5 Disney Fans fault! Just because she told us about the bags at Michaels, I had to go buy two, download some designs and make some bags for my kids. The horrible, horrible influence you DISsers are on me!

:woohoo:  :woohoo:  :woohoo:

Here are the finished bags. I'm bummed because DD's design got on crooked - DS bumped it and didn't tell me before I ironed it on. Oh well. Maybe I'll try to camouflage it by putting some orange rick-rack around it.

I got the "trick-or-treat" ribbon at AC Moore (40% off this week!). I also took some advice on another thread about sewing velcro to the top so the candy won't spill out on rides. I put the velcro on the inside space between the handles.

Just thought that I'd share! And thanks for sharing the idea, too! :thumbsup2

Thanks!! Your designs are awesome. Tonite is "project nite" - making our shirts and bags. You have been a great help!!!

Did you use the transfer paper specific for dark fabrics?

Yes, I did. I've been using that for all of the projects that I've been doing. The only problem I experienced with it was that I pressed down a little too hard with the iron, making the transfer paper adhere into the fabric too much so some of the black showed through the design.

Another thought is to put the design straight onto pre-treated fabric made for ink-jet printers, then sew the fabric onto the bag. You can get the fabric sheets to fit in the computer at craft stores. I'm doing this for a different bag for DD, one that will get a whole lot more use and may have to get washed more.

Okay - I've been blabbing on too much. But you have my long-winded answer! :happytv:

This is not a MNSSHP but one i had attempted for our Halloween cruise. It can be redone for MHSSHP

Could you make one which includes Alice in Wonderland (my fave!), Ariel & Pocahontas (DD's faves), Mulan (DS's fave since she does Karate and other boy stuff), and any other Princess that makes the image work? I gotta make myself something out of this!!!!
Thanks!

P.S. Just after sending the message I saw this one. I don't know which one I like better!!! Would you mind doing both?

These designs are great bulah1 I was wondering if you would mind us using your design the kids are dressing up but it is perfect for the adults esp as we got married 10 years ago in Florida. Also would you be able to do some names in the same design as the word disney if not do you know who does anything similar. Thanks
