I would love to hear how the crowds were on 10/2 or 10/5 for MNSSHP - this is the week my family wants to go next year and I'm hoping that the heavy crowds reported for 9/29 didn't continue into the week. TIA for any updates! :smooth:

We went on 10/02. We got to MK at about 6:30. It seemed like there were alot of people there...but...the ride lines were very short. The longest we waited was 10 mintues at HM. SM was a walk on and all the fantasy land rides were 5 minutes or so (except we skipped Peter Pan as it had a 20 minute wait).

My DD went through 3 candy lines, they looked long but only took a couple of minutes each...she got more than enough candy.

It was easy to find a good spot for the late parade (we missed the first one).

The longest lines seemed to be for the characters...but DD doesn't do autographs so we skipped that. I really wanted to get a picture of DD with Cinderella's coach...but that line was crazy so we skipped it too.

This was our first MNSSHP...we had alot of fun. One of DD's favorite things was the dance parties...great character interaction.

We did MNSSHP on 10/2 and didn't find it crowded at all. We didn't start to collect our candy until after the fireworks and there were no lineups anywhere. The biggest line I saw all night was in Adventureland for Tarzan and Jane. We had no problem getting a good spot for the late parade. We did wait for a photo with Cinderella's coach but maybe 10min.

We went the 2nd and I'm hooked!

We got into the park around 5 (the Flag Retreat Ceremony was just starting) and people were flooding out. There were a decent number of people coming in, the turnstyles were steady but the lines weren't backing up - if that makes sense, LOL, if I explained that good enough. We made our way through the Emporium (had to pick up a postcard for autographs to mail home to some kids) and we had a 5:45 ADR at Crystal Palace. By the time we got out, we walked through Adventureland and by the time we got to Frontierland the announcement came on. There was hardly anyone in Frontierland. We done all those attractions the day before so we kept moving, and got to Fantasyland. Everything was a walk-on! I've never seen Peter Pan so empty that vacant ships were passing! The day before it was the longest line we saw all day at 30-40 minutes when we passed - and usually it's good for a 70 minute line. We did that, Dumbo, Snow White and Pooh within about 20 minutes. It was CRAZY. We got to Tomorrowland and mroe of the same. Space Mountain said 10 minutes but by the time we made the hike to the end of the line, our wait was about 2 minutes. Buzz was under 5 minutes. I noticed that most of the lines had overinflated times - and they were marked at 10 minutes, 15 minutes. Not bad at all!

We got a spot on Main Street with about 15-20 minutes to the fireworks and it didn't even start filling in til about 5 minutes before the fireworks, and when it did fill in there was still a TON of room - not like shoulder to shoulder during Wishes at certain times of the year. We liked our spot so well (and we'd accomplished so much in the park already, LOL) that we just hung out for the 2nd parade. After the fireworks people poured out of the parks. Judging by the crowds leaving, and what we saw on our last loop around the park after the parade - probably half the people left after those fireworks.

I went on the 5th, and it was great! The best part was that I went to see both parades, and literally got to Main Street right as the parade stepped off in Frontierland, and it was a ghost town there! Awsome. BTW, the parade is absolutely amazing. I just love it. I also saw the Mix-N-Mingle show a couple of times. I was able to see all the characters except Jafar and Queen of Hearts (who I didn't really need to see).

Oh the weather is really nice right now. In fact, it hasn't rained in awhile.
