MNSSH Starting time vs park entry

At what time can you enter the park for MNSSHP, I was told 4:00 when I made a reservation for LTT. Is this only with a dinner reservation? We are going twice and am wondering if I have to wait until 7 when the party starts or if we can go in a 4:00 on that other night.
