Can anyone tell me is there a good website( that is free), that can tell me what the laws are in the work place? I found one, but it does not tell me what I am looking for.

The question that I am trying to find an answer to is, "What is the law on breaks in the work place, for MN"?

Found this, hope it helps.

Work breaks (rest periods)
Doesn't my employer have to give me a break?
The state law requires employers to provide restroom time and sufficient time to eat a meal. If the break is less than 20 minutes in duration, it must be counted as hours worked. Time to use the nearest restroom must be provided within each four consecutive hours of work. Meal time applies to employees who work eight or more consecutive hours (see Minnesota Statutes 177.253 and 177.254).

also this from the same site http://www.doli.state.mn.us/rights.html

Rest breaks are not required, however you must be allowed time to use the nearest restroom once every four consecutive hours worked.

If you work eight or more consecutive hours, you must be allowed sufficient time to eat a meal.

Employment laws are generally a federal issue so you might want to look for federal employment websites.
