Can you request to sit in the front on MMRR? I saw a vlogger say that the pexi glass is awful.

I did it on our last trip in December. I didn't care which front row I got, just so long as I didn't have the plexi-glass. The CM seemed relieved when I said I didn't care which vehicle, so she was able pretty much keep up with her normal filling routine. A new train had just gotten there when we arrived, so she put us in the first row of the last car. It worked out great!.

Right, any car but the front row.

there are only two rows in each cart, and there is no plexi glass in the front rows. the "train" is just a series of 4 two-seat cars. also, everyting you look at is pretty much up in the air and all around you, so i didn;t find the plexiglass a problem.

Just ask for an odd row and you will be put in the front row of one of the cars.

Same. Just back from a trip and I recall hearing announcements that row requests were not considered at this time.
Interesting! That wasn’t the case over Christmas but with so many rides with plexiglass now it makes sense. Frozen is the worst offender IMO.

We were there this past week and can confirm that you cannot request rows on any rides.
We hated the plexiglass on the rides. Frozen plexiglass especially was really smudgy and hard to see through.
Yeah, the plexiglass is a pain, but the alternative would be to give everyone a front row and have the line be twice as long. We've also heard announcements on several rides that location requests couldn't be honored. Unfortunately there's no good solution until this thing is over, and that's going to take a while.

Rope Drop and be the first one in there and should be no issue then.

I asked for it.

Some rides will say they will not take requests.

Come mid day and that might be the case at MMRR.

Good thing is vehicles are not that large so good chance you get a front row just by luck.

Please don’t put the CMs in an awkward position
With social distancing they know how to get people grouped
There is no good area to stand off to the side and allow social distancing
And imagine if everyone did this
It slows line and is very inconsiderate

The on ride photo for Frozen Ever After is pitiful. They should just turn off the camera and not advertise the ride takes photos. Unless your group is in the front row, it’s a huge blur

Yes, I saw a review with a frozen ride pic. It was pretty bad. we didn’t even get memory maker because masks cover all the smiles.

Look at the line - if you are rope dropping and it is a slow day you should not feel bad asking but if you have a 30-60 minute wait behind you don’t make the CM say no. Either way if you ask and they say no just be kind and say thank you

Except every other row on that ride is front of a car.

You don't need to stand off the side they simply would put you in one row back.

Each car is 2 rows with one row behind glass.

I rode it twice during my recent trip and was behind plexiglass both times. Not evidence based and ruined the experience. Frozen was far worse though. Living with the land I might as well have had my eyes closed for the dark ride portions and Epcot was so empty that day there was one one other person anywhere else on the boat.

I just rode it for the first (and last) time yesterday. While in line, I noticed that the even numbered lines were behind the plexiglass, and the odd numbered lines were in front of it. I used that info to make sure I ended up in an odd numbered line, because I wanted the full experience. I didn't like the ride at all, but it was better that I was not right behind plexiglass.
