Hello to all you DVC'rs with a few more trips under your belt.

We will be travelling home again for 2 weeks in October. Would love to try getting food delivered (e.g. Pizza) in the evening to BCV.

Where/what would you all recommend? Links to menu's that I could print and take with me would be greatly appreciated!

I am planning on ordering from Giordanos in May while at BWV.
I am assuming that the Lake Buena Vista Location is the location I should order from. Is this correct? TIA

Isn't there a walk-up carryout pizza window at one of the BW restaurants? Is it any good? Even at WDW prices, would that be cheaper than the delivery charge and tip to an outside pizza guy?
I am also staying at BCV this July and an interested in an answer.

Sorry to all who like it... But We hated the Boardwalk pizza. I couldn't get the kids to eat it one bit!

SSRex....I think this falls into "different strokes for different folks"....

The pizza-by-the-slice window on Boardwalk is outside of the Spoodles restaurant. My kids loved the pizza and are looking forward to getting more of it this summer when we stay at BWV.

I wouldn't dismiss any food until I try it.

As for the original intent of this thread, I don't know of the pizza delivery establishments. So I appreciate any information on pizza delivery that can be provided!

Okay...devoted Chicago-ans do NOT send me hate mail for this...I just feel a need to put my 2 cents in...I went to grad school right across the street from Giordano's in downtown Chicago. I do NOT like their pizza (and, I am a big fan of pizza). I could go into details, but that would really make Giordano's fans mad. Let me just say that it is not your mainstream pizza...and, I really doubt that my dd would eat it (but, maybe that's genetic). I would definitely give it a shot (it is a legend), but have other options for the kids.

I have to second the vote for Giordano's. When we plan our trips to WDW, we schedule a dinner at Giordano's. When we talk about the pizza, we have to have napkins handy in case we drool.

They do deliver and I think it's a toss up who delivers to BWV. You might want to call the restaurants - LBV: 407-239-8900 or Kissimmee: 407-397-0044.

I knew you would come up with the goods! Just seen DH salivating over the Giordano's menu.....

I sure think we'll need some delivery options as my DD3 will need some downtime and my DM will need some serious escape from her first attack of Florida heat!! Hey, she's never been out of the UK, so any sort of heat will be a challenge LOL

Anything else apart from pizza........ please don't suggest cooking - I'm on vacation too.

Oh my gosh!!! Thank you so much for posting the link to Giordano's. I grew up in Chicago and I REALLY miss their pizza. I now live in Texas and Texans no nothing about pizza. I think we are going to have to order take out this spring or summer while we are in WDW.

I mean no offense whatsoever.......but once you've eaten New York and/or Chicago pizza you're done. You can travel the globe and it's never....NEVER....the same. I'd sincerely prefer the pizza box over the pizza at WDW. My DS, 5 yrs. old at last visit refused to eat it. We ended up going offsite ( Bahama Breeze)!

We ordered Giordanno's pizza when we were at OKW and at the BWV. Both times we ordered from the place on Apopka-Vineland -- (407) 239-8900. At OKW, they'll deliver right to your door. At BWV, we met them in the lobby. I imagine it would be the same for the Beach Club.

Both times, I thought the pizza was delicious. I've been tempted, several times, to order it online, but so far, haven't quite gotten up the nerve. I'll have to order it, again, when we go back this fall.

The Lake Buena Vista location is in the same mall as Goodings right near Downtown Disney so I think that would be the easiest.

Keep in mind that they serve both deep dish and thin. Many consider deep dish true Chicago pizza, but I prefer the thin. To each their own which is great!

It was a Chicago "stuffed" pizza with lots of cheese and fillings. It was no problem at all having it delivered.
