I’m consider purchasing MMB for $99 only for the photo pass Memory Maker. My grandchiarw very young (three 5 years and younger). Will there be enough opportunity for photos? I don’t think they will be able to ride that many rides, and probably not last a whole day in a park. Is it worth it? TIA.

You can you Memory Maker with any Photo Pass photographer, not just the on-ride photos (which I think have garbage photo quality the majority of the time). Some of my favorite family photos have been taken at a Disney park by one of their photographers and I get memory maker every time we go (or add it to my annual pass). But as always, YMMV.

What I wonder is it says it’s for 30 days. 30 days from first use? 30 days that have pictures? I have the AP addon for $99 and it’s for the whole year.

What is the difference between photo pass and Memory Maker? Sorry first time ever considering doing this.

We just used it last month (MMB version) with our one year old granddaughter and thought it was great. Added on a Capture Your Moment Session and the photopass includes all of their photos as well. All told over 220 photos to document our Princess’s first Disney visit, not to mention the 500 or more we took with our own camera! MMB was well worth the $ for us.

Wow! So how did you get the photographer to take the pictures? Are they just walking around?

Photopass photographers are located throughout the parks, just need to get in line if there is one and scan your magic band or phone after the photos The Capture Your Moment session is private and must be scheduled

There are photographers at various places through all the parks. You just need to look for them. Some are obvious, e.g. there will be several along Main Street in MK and in the hub. Others may be off to the side but won’t be hidden. For instance, today in DHS a photographer was standing alone across from Droid Depot, just watching a group of people entering, so we stopped and got some very nice photos. They’re usually not walking around, instead they’ll be stationed somewhere, and there may or may not be a line of guests waiting for photos there. IOW, keep your eyes open and look for them!

Capture Your Moment is an extra cost in addition to the Photo Pass/ Memory Maker?

Yes $99 per 20 minute session Pick your location, we did in front of the castle The photographer and assistant were awesome! We only booked one session since 20 minutes for a one year old is an eternity. As many as 8 can be in the photos. You can book multiple sessions and locations. We got a ton of good pictures and all are downloadable for ‘free’ with the MM. Can still book without MM but have to pay extra for the photos you want in that case. Money well spent imo since this was a special trip for us.

@BWV Dreamin, you can actually see the locations of PhotoPass photographers in the MDE app. Tap the upside down teardrop at bottom to open the map, then scroll across the top and tap the PhotoPass icon, then tap Locations and finally the park you’re in. Little PhotoPass icons will pop up all over the park, every where you can find a photographer!

The OP considering purchasing Membership Magic Beyond (MMB) from DVC. One of the perks you receive with that purchase is the standard Memory Maker Photo Downloads package that's available for anyone to purchase. There are many other perks available with MMB like priority access to the in-park DVC lounges, BOGO on One Time Use Vacation Points and many more.
