MLK weekend or another weekend in Jan/Feb - wwyd

I have not been to Disney World in 11 years. I have a voucher to use for flights that has to be used by the end of February.

I am trying to decide between a longer trip that includes MLK weekend or a shorter trip another weekend in January/February. The trip is just to Disney World and would be in the cheapest on site hotel available.
Flight gets in around noon and leave around 10 pm for whatever days we select.​

MLK weekend
- 6 day trip
- kids off school 2 extra days
- more time at Disney

Other weekend
- 4 (maybe 5) trip
- cheaper (less days at Disney World)
- less crowded, but I am not sure by how much or if this would make up for fewer days

I am not sure if we will be back to Disney anytime soon. So just trying to figure out which would be the best trip. What would you do?

I would do the longer stay! We sometimes stay at Value resorts which are the cheapest of the Disney Resorts. I’m assuming you have two children, the rooms at the value resorts accommodate a maximum of four people. But the rooms are quite small so just be forewarned! If more than that you will have to get two rooms or one of the family suites. The value resorts attract a lot of groups primarily teens, so just expect it.
