I think we'll be using the kennels at FW this year. We got a Pomeranian in Sept. and I really don't want to leave him with my father (he wouldn't mistreat him, my dad's 85 and I think Tazz might be a handful for him - besides, he feeds him way too many table scraps!!

). We're staying in one of the cabins, so it won't be too difficult to pop in to see him as we come and go from the parks. I think Tazz will be ok in the kennel. We got in from the Humane Society and he liked it so much there, we take him back to visit them! He is also very friendly towards other animals.

I think I'm more worried about how WE'LL manage without him than how he's going to do!
The other way he won't be going is if my neighbor can watch him. I'm not too sure right now though if she can. She has a Chow who is very protective of "his family" (since she is a widow, I think he thinks he is the man of the house

). He is suffering from cancer and I don't know if Simba will still be around in Dec. If he is gone then, I know my friend would take Tazz in without a second thought. I just wouldn't ask her if Simba is still around (or if she was still mourning his passing).
