MK train times

I'm wondering....how many trains are there on the tracks in the MK? I guess a better question would be, how much time is there between trains? If anyone knows the answer to this, I'd be grateful.....

I want to say there is only one train.

Here is some information from allearsnet.com:
"You can board the Walt Disney World Railroad at any of its three stations: the main station on Main Street, U.S.A.; the station in Frontierland; and the one in Mickey’s Toontown Fair. You can also depart at any of these stations, or stay on board for the full 1.5-mile grand-circle tour, which takes about 20 minutes."

There are several at DL, so I'm sure there's more than 1.

There are 4 'full time' engines at WDW, the Roger Broggie, The Roy O. Disney, the Lilly Belle, and the Walter E. Disney.

Sometimes two engines are run at the same time, the entire loop around the park takes approximately 20 minutes. So your station wait would be between 20 mins +/- or 10 (depending on how many engines are running.)

There's got to be at least 2 (normally). When I was there, one train was just leaving Frontierland, and we only had to wait 5 minutes or so for the next one. My guess is there's either 2 or 3 running at once.

When we were there in April, there were three trains running. The conductor CM said that there was a 6 minute wait at the station between each train.

It all depends on the crowd levels at the parks. Normally there are three running but if it is quiet then we have seen only two on the tracks. We have also seen them get behind schedule so that the gap between the trains isn't always even.
