MK to Chef Mickeys

We always walk from MK to the Contemporary. When you exit the park just hang a left and the walkway is to the left of the buses and it is clearly marked. You will be walking to the right of the monorail track. If it is the evening, it shouldn't be too hot so you should be ok.:thumbsup2

You can walk or take the monorail. If you'd prefer to walk, just follow the sidewalk down to the bus depot, and keep walking past the buses. The CR will be straight ahead. It's about a 10 minute walk.

Actually, I'd take the monorail to go over (it's the first stop after leaving the MK) and walk back to the MK when done!

Take the monorail..........it takes you right inside the Contemporary as it's first stop! Quick, easy and fun!

You can't go wrong by walking or taking the Monorail. If you decide to take the Monorail the Contemporary is the next stop and since you be let off on the 4th floor, Chef Mickey's is right on the other side. If you choose to walk it's should take no more then 10 minutes and might be faster if you had just missed the Monorail because then you would have to wait for the next one to arrive.

I agree with MagicMe. I think it would be better to take the monorail out of MK and then walk back, if you are going back to MK or need to catch a bus...

I say monorail - less walking, and you will aleady be so tired from walking in the parks. Monorail is fun for the kiddos too.

We walked over for our dinner at the contemporary. It was pouring out and the line for the monorail was ridiculous!!!
Quick, easy walk!!

Have Fun!!

I'd walk. It's quicker than the monorail and really not that much further than walking up to the monorail station.

I agree. When I was there, we stayed until around closing, and we saw how packed the monorail was, so we walked. We were already exhausted, and it just made it worse. And we just walked to the first Garden wing. If I was headed to Chef Mickey's, and the line was easy...Monorail all the way. It drops you off right near it!
