What's your preferred way to get home to BCV from MK? (not including by car - I'm sure that's the easiest! but unfortunately not an option for us this trip).

Bus straight there?
Monorail to Epcot & Bus to BCV?
Monorail to Epcot & Walk through Epcot?
Other that I don't know about?

If I didn't have a car I'd try a direct bus first. My second choice would be the monorail to Epcot and a walk through to the International Gateway. I'd only do the second one if there were some reason for it - like an hour long wait for a bus or something. Because going to Epcot and walking through means that a) you have to make sure Epcot is still open and b) you have to have an Annual Pass or a Park Hopper ticket to get into Epcot and c) you still have energy to walk it!!!

There's no bus from Epcot to BCV, so that knocks out option #2.

The fastest and easier way is, without a doubt, the direct bus from MK to BCV. Yes, it's possible to take the monorail and walk through Epcot, but wow, that is one heck of a hike. At least a mile, maybe more. Given the choice of slogging across the entire length of Epcot, or riding in air-conditioned comfort right to the door of my resort, I'd take the bus every time. :)

Actually I think taking the bus direct isn't longer than a car. Just depends on how long the lines are at the bus stop compared to the lines at the monorail, and ferry dock, and eventually the parking lot trams.

If you have a car you have to either monorail or ferry to the TTC, then walk or catch a tram to the parking lot. And only then can you get in your car to drive.

Taking the monorail to Epcot is certainly an option, but don't forget that you'd have to change monorail trains at the TTC, and the walk to BCV from the Epcot monorail station is quite a walk. If you hit Epcot right when Illuminations ends, then you'll find yourself walking 'up stream'.

I guess one option you didn't consider is to take a bus to BWV and from there walk to BCV. You might consider this if at the MK bus stop, you see a BWV bus is available and no BCV bus has arrived yet.

The absolute quickest would be a taxi, but I assume you meant not having to pay for a taxi.

Come to think of it, even if you drive your own car, it's not 'free'. At today's gas prices, the R/T from BCV to MK and back could be pushing $0.80 (Figured at 5 miles R/T at 22 mpg city driving and $3.40/gal)

If the timing is just right, the bus will even beat a taxi I think. I've walked right up and hopped on the bus. I think it was seven minutes to the YC and I usually get off there and walk through the lobbies. If you stay on the bus to the BC, I don't think it could add more than a couple minutes to the ride unless there's a wheelchair to load at the YC.

To get a taxi, you still have to get over to the TTC first.
