MK spectromagic/fireworks - how does MK late EMH affect crowds?

I am trying to decide which day to go to MK. I want to see SpectroMagic at 8 and fireworks at 9. I would be curious as to opinions as to which of these 2 days would be better:

1. Monday, Dec. 19 - crowd level "6" via Unofficial Guide, but no EMH. Upside: fewer people if no EMH, right? Downside: everyone is leaving at once after fireworks.

2. Wednesday Dec. 21 - crowd level "5" via Unofficial Guide, BUT, evening EMH at MK should make crowds heavier, right? Also, despite what the Unofficial Guide says, wouldn't every day closer to Christmas get more crowded? BUT, if evening EMH, then maybe everyone isn't bolting after the fireworks.

I am thinking maybe the parade will be harder to see on Weds b/c it might be more crowded with evening EMH, whereas the fireworks probably look about the same no matter the crowd level, but it may be easier to leave Weds. if some of that larger crowd is staying after the fireworks.

Thoughts? Single mom travelling with 3 young teen/preteens. Thanks!

Avoid evening EMH at MK like the plague! It was a nightmare when we were there in June and the UG rating for that day was a 7 or 8 but it was sooooo awful. You couldn't move on Main Street an hour before Spectro started. I just wouldn't do it if I were you.

I agree with Crazy Kanga we went 1 night to MK for spectro/wishes when it was EMH. crazy busy does not even begin to cover it!! We sat for an hour just to get a spot for spectro had we waited too much longer there would not have been a spot. Avoid EMH...
