Will you have children with you? Are you interested in a character meal??
At any rate, there are a few sit-down restaurants in the MK itself, and then you also have the monorail resorts that would take you only a few minutes, and a fun monorail ride, to get to!
Within the MK itself, there is the Crystal Palace which is a buffet with Pooh and friends characters. There is the Liberty Tree Tavern which is all-you-care-to-eat, but it is brought out to your table on platters. It's basically a turkey dinner, and the characters are dressed in Colonial garb. I think the characters are Minnie, Pluto, Chip, and Dale. Not sure if Mickey is here or not??
There is also the Plaza Restaurant, right on the corner of Main Street. At first glance it looks like an ice cream shop, and it is, but it also serves wonderful cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, and burgers too.
Tony's Town Square is an Italian restaurant that gets mixed reviews here on the DIS boards.
You can have dinner in the castle, but this recently has changed to more of an "event" than the nice quiet dinner spot it used to be. The menu is now limited, you pay one price no matter what you order, and it includes a picture taken with Cinderella before you eat. I used to love to go to the castle for dinner on our first night of each trip, but now I'll be giving this tradition up.
Now onto the monorail resort restaurants! My personal favorite for a casual, yet GOOD meal is the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian.
I just realized that I don't have time right now to type out every restaurant on the monoral line, but go to this web site, and scroll down a little, you'll see the names and menus for every single restaurant on Disney property!
