MK Plan? Advice?

How does this plan look? This will be on a Thursday in early Sept so low crowds with a 9am opening no EMH for the am. We will get to park well before 9am.

My husband will probably be the only one who rides Space Mountain so would it be wise to have him do that and then I take the kids to meet Merida first thing? Then this is the rest of the plan

As long as DH and kids are okay with him missing Merida, I'd say it looks pretty good. He will probably be done with Space before you guys are done, so you may want to find something for him to do while he waits. Personally, I'd ride Space again and then meet you all at Astro.

Oh he wont care and Im sure kids wont either haha. My daughter is tall enough for Space but she probably will not want to ride it. She starts at 9 so I think going to her first and getting done quick is the best thing to do.

Yes, it is a favorite. We always have to do it. The line moves quickly.
Don't forget to have glow sticks, bracelets, etc... for rides. We always put them on as soon as we get to the park.

Also, I always like to start out with gentle rides and work up to the coasters. So, I agree with your daughter not attempting Space first thing.

People Mover is a walk on type attraction. You'll have plenty of time to do many other attractions, in my opinion. Peter Pan's flight (get a Fast Pass for it!) and Belle's Enchanted Tales (again, Fast Pass is handy), Little Mermaid's Under the Sea... so many options!

We have two other days at MK, one evening for the halloween party but were getting there early for Pirates league and to use FP and then a morning in FL. So Ill be getting FP for Peter pan, Mine train and Belle that day!

We've been twice now. One trip where we really planned and it worked out great. My daughter LOVED the coasters at 5!! She rode Space Mountain though at Disneyland like 3 years ago and she hated it. So I think she may like it now but I don't like that the seats are only one and a parent can't sit next to her.

Yeah, my son loved Splash at 3. But we waited until he was 5 to ride Space. Kids change all the time-he might not like it the next time we go. It is good that you are able to have such a relaxed touring plan! I am not going to lie, your plan makes the park commando in me twitch a little!

Any interest in doing Fantasyland stuff? If so, I'd do that first thing (I'd only do SDMT with a fastpass). Any interest in doing Storybook stuff (Dumbo, Goofy roller coaster, meeting characters there?) If so, you could throw that in really anywhere...that area does not get too busy in Sept. Any interest in parades/fireworks? There's a daytime parade at 3:00 (if you're wanting to see it and wanting to see it from Main Street, try to get a curb-side seat on the Casey's side around 2"15/2:30 (that would mean moving your JC fastpass) - do the Casey's side so you're out of the sun...we've been stuck on the sun side...not fun. Not sure what Thurs. you're going or if there's the MSEP that night, but there should be Wishes regardless if you're interested in seeing that.

Also, just make sure you're aware of the time when you're at Crystal Palace as your fastpass for Splash is kinda close.

Well were at MK another full day a 8am EMH morning and we are hitting FL that day and then we are doing the Halloween party another night and we'll be getting to park at 1:00 so I'll be getting FP for a couple rides that afternoon as well before the party lots of MK time!
