I haven't ever been to the night parade. Anyone have any suggestions on how early we need to go to see good since we have 4 little kids. Best place to view it and is there a least crowded night? Thank you

It's crowded every night for MSEP, so there is no least crowded night for it. The route of the parade is that it goes through Main Street, Liberty Square and Frontierland. I would park myself near Pecos Bill or in front of Sleepy Hollow Refreshments.

How early to get a seat?

It's ALWAYS crowded in my personal experience. I would get to your spot at least an hour early maybe even earlier. If u see people starting to take their spot then it's time to take your spot. As for best location it really depends...are u planning on leaving the park after the parade? If u plan to leave after the parade then I think the best spot to be is by the front gates. That's where the parade starts and it's easier to exit the park without hoards of people exiting with you. If u want to see the castle projection show followed by wishes then I think the best place to be is infront of the castle or by the plaza restaurant. If you are planning to stay in the park and ride more rides after the parade depending on where the rides are...if in Fantasyland or Tomorrowland then sit by the castle, but if riding something closer to adventure land I would sit by pecos bills like PP mentioned. Have a great trip!

I wouldn't plan on getting a seat. As others have suggested, we always watch MSEP from the Pecos Bill area. Many folks arrive about fifteen minutes before the parade and sit down on the street right along the route, and end up with a great view.

We like to sit in front of Sleepy Hollow. To be safe you could get there an hr. early, and grab snacks at Sleepy Hollow while you wait, or someone save spaces with jackets/bags so the kids will be able to sit right behind the rope to see, and the other can take the kids to a nearby attraction, bathroom break, etc. We have usually not needed more than a half hr., but it depends on the time of your trip and crowds. Also,if they are showing it twice a nt. when you go(not happening much lately), the 2nd parade is generally less crowded. If Wishes and the castle projection show (definitely try to see-really cool!) are after the parade, you may want to sit on the hub so you will be in front of the castle for the those, but will definitely need to stake out a spot early for that area. If the parade is after the projection show/Wishes, you could stay at the hub, if you are already there.

We will be there the first week of May. Is there a calendar somewhere that tells how many parades there are and the times?
