MK Parade spot in Frontierland?

We usually watch the MK afternoon parade from Main St. However, because of time constraints we want to watch at its beginning in Frontierland. Does anyone have a good viewing spot from that area? We will be there at a very busy time but are willing to stake a spot out early. Thanks so much!

When we were there last December, and also 5 Decembers ago, during MVMCP, we would always go to the area right next to Splash Mountain. There were spaces available right up to the moment the parade started.

There's nothing real secret about it, but my family enjoys watching the parades from the boardwalk right near the exit for CBJ. One cool thing about this spot is that it is an easy stroll over to Splash after Spectro. We usually get to ride SM with no lines as everyone else is leaving and/or gathering for Wishes

If you're standing there looking at Splash Mountain, to the left of it is a road. This is way the parade begins. The CMs will tie a rope (about 20 minutes prior) to the fence on that road. I always like to stand right next to the rope, between it and Splash. It will give you a really good view of the floats (they look like they're coming straight at you for a little while) and you're able to elave right after the parade ends to ride Splash. Great spot!!

Probably a silly question, but if we try this will we be able to see Wishes after we ride Splash? I have NO idea what the time length is here between the parade and fireworks.

The Share a Dream Come True parade begins at 3:00, so you definitely won't want to stand there waiting for Wishes. The Spectromagic parade is in the evening before Wishes, and it would be a good idea to wait there, provided it's got a good view. I've never seen it there, so I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else will chime in....

One thing to consider - Spectromagic runs Main Street to Frontierland. I does not start there like Share a Dream. It takes a good 20 minutes from the start time to reach Frontierland.

FFerret, we have had luck moving from the aforementioned Frontierland spot to a location in front of the castle (for fireworks viewing) by cutting through to Adventureland on that walkway near where the CBJ entrance is; then from Adventireland over to the hub. Actually, we prefer to watch afternoon and evening parades in Frontierland as opposed to Main Street or the hub.
