MK Parade Route with Train Station Refurb

The sidewalk construction is supposed to be done by the first week of Oct. So I don't think you will have a problem watching the parade in Nov. They will still be working on the train station.

HM will be open when you are there.

SafetyMom, Have you been to check on the progress of the Train Station. That wall sure is ugly. I am hoping and hoping that it will be down by Oct. 1. Thanks for your pictures. At least we won't be shocked.

SafetyMom thanks for the photos.

Has the train station rehab impacted the opening ceremony at the MK?

We enjoy watching it, and hope it is still going on when we come in Nov.

As of right now, the rehab has not affected the morning show. The rehab is still currently on the park side, they have not moved around to the front yet. When they do move to the front the decision will be made about the morning show as it will need to be modified if not canceled. They will be making the Mickey Floral smaller and extending the platform that the dancers use so that they are not as close to the train tracks... Train service will not be afftected by the rehab (just the entrance and exit for the station are modified)...

The walls around the sidewalk aren't due to come down until Oct. 3. Parade resumes normal route on the 4th.

I will go over and take pictures when the wall comes down.

Thanks! Hoping to view Spectro from there. We will try it on the 5th!

I know, but won't you be looking at all of that "stuff" below you?? And, the parade does not go right in front of the train station like it normally does. I think the view would not be so great. What is your opinion?

By the 5th the stuff in front of you will be gone from the sidewalk. The parade route will be back to normal.

I didn't mind looking at the stuff. How bad could it be? You are in Magic Kingdom. :)

So true! We are bringing friends and it will be their first time to see Spectro. I want it to be perfect. So, I am thinking if we wait until the 5th, then the parade will pass right in front of us like always. Oh well, we will play it by ear. Who knows, maybe they will be ahead of schedule. Thanks so much for the information.
