MK or HS on December 30th

We're doing one park day on Dec 30 before going to visit family (returning to a Disney a week later). It's mostly because we have 4 day tickets due to the Canadian deal.

Anyway we had planned on doing MK, taking in the holiday stuff and the fireworks knowing that we'd be returning for rides a week later. Now I'm second guessing if we should do HS instead. We won't have another chance to visit that park and my husband and older daughter love Star Wars. Thoughts?

MK will be a zoo as that's the first night of the NYE fireworks (MK does them on the 30th and the 31st) - if you can do HS during the day and then catch the fireworks at night you'd get the best of both worlds. HS will definitely be the less crowded park though.

Both are 10/10 crowd levels. Do your original plan and set your expectations accordingly.
