MK on October Sat. morning only?

Our first trip to disney is planned for DD's 10th birthday, Oct. 23 - 30. Since we live right near DL in Calif., we're concentrating more time on the parks other than MK there. We are going to MNNSHP on the 28th and to see Wishes another night.

My question is this. Do some other things that are set in our schedule, our only other time at MK will be the day we leave (Sat., Oct. 30th) from Opening until about 1:30. I know that MK is very crowded on Saturdays, but how bad is it? We just want to get in to a few shows (e.g. Hall of Presidents) and any of the few rides we would have missed at MNNSHP. Do you think if we arrive at opening, use Fastpass, and leave after lunch, we can accomplish this? Or is this crazy? My daughter is most excited about EPCOT, because she loves geography and science, and will not have a chance to see the other parks again for a long time. Thanks for any input.

You'll be OK. I would recommend getting to the Park around 8:40 a.m. and head toward the things you want to do most. It won't start to get really crowded as far as lines until closer to lunchtime. You can get a lot done in that time period. And you should have no trouble with Hall of Presidents. I would actually do the rides you want to do first. It shouldn't be too bad. And a Saturday in October is definitely a lot better than a Saturday in July.

I really think you'll be fine too. Rides during MNSSHP usually have low to little waits. So, if you can swing the 4pm-midnight there. You can possibly set aside an hr or 2 just for rides then too (later in the night the better-- after 11pm all Fantasyland rides were walk on!!! And we went sold out 10/31 last year). This would really help to get a sense of accomplishment to the MK. At least to the top "must-do's".
