MK fireworks

Just wondering where the best place is to view the fireworks OUTSIDE the park. To avoid the big gridlock after the fireworks we were planning on exiting MK just before the fireworks start. However, it would be really nice to be able to see a bit of the fireworks. Our first choice is to make PS at Calif Grill, but we are'nt sure if that is going to work for us. Any other suggestions?

We are going to watch them from the beach of the Poly our first night.. we have never done this but everyone says it is great!!!

I haven't seen Wishes from the Polynesian but I have seen other shows and it's a great location. It's fun to dine at one of their restaurants and time it right to enjoy the fireworks after dinner.
