MK Fireworks while going back to hotel??

my boyfriend told me that him and his family used to be able to watch the MK fireworks on the boat back to their hotel after coming from the Hoop De Due Revue but the last time he and I went the CM would not move the boat until the fireworks were over and he was......not rude but just ignored everyone's comments about why he wouldn't move the boat. it was kind of aggrivating because the deck was filled with people and you can't really see the fireworks while inside the boat. just wondering if anyone has gone lately and been able to watch the fireworks while going back on the boat???

We experienced this,seeing the fireworks from the boat from the campgrounds last month. I have to say though that we left the dock before the fireworks started. We did have to wait right out front of the MK when we got there for another boat to move before we could dock, and the driver said he would wait for the fireworks to be done before docking... so we had our own "free" Wishes cruise! We did miss a few minutes of the show as it started before we got around the Contemporary to the front of MK. We knew the time was near for Wishes so we grabbed the outside seats in the front of the boat.
