Hi everyone! Just want to throw this one out there to see what everyone thinks. A friend of mine went to see Spectromagic and Wishes one night at the MK. She told me she saw the fireworks right in front of the castle w/o staking out a spot hours before ( it was during spring break). When I asked her how she did it she said that they watched the parade by the train station, and when the last float went by they simply followed it straight up main st. to the castle where they stood to see Wishes. I didn't think you were allowed on main street while the parade is still on. Is this something frowned upon by Disney or do a lot of people do this. I would love to see Wishes from the castle, but I don't have the patience to hold a spot so long before it starts. For all those who do save a spot an hour or two before, I would think her strategy would be annoying to them. What do you think? :scratchin

Its not such a "secret".
This is done (to a certain degree) EVERY NIGHT.
You just "fall in" BEHIND the parade... and FOLLOW it as it continues.

When you reach where you want to stand, just stop.
Since the parade route is about 20 feet wide DURING the parade... AFTER the parade goes by, there's 20 feet of width that can be filled in with people.

BUT...
If you want to TRY this, its a real GAMBLE, as many folks crowd in behind the parade (its a STRANGLE-TIGHT MOB of people). No telling exactly how FAR you'll get to where you WANT to be, before the crowd (due to is MASS) just won't LET you go any farther.
