I called dining again earlier & was told it's not available past 28th Aug. I told her that I'd heard it was being extended & she checked one date for me but nothing on the system....

Ok, I just got off the phone with dinning...He said there are no dates released past Aug 28th...He said that anyone calling will be told the dates are completely booked until the dates are released...He said to keep checking back every day until the dates are released....He checked several systems to see if our dates for Setp would come up...So Disneydonnam I hope this will make you feel a little better about not getting in...He said also next Friday is the last day and he feels they will release the dates soon...So everyone just keep checking back everyday...I'm crossing my fingers to....

Just wanted to add guys that we were there last week 8/5-8/15 and we walked up with no problem. They have lots of cancellations every night as it's not on the dining plan so people have been reluctant to shell out ~80 dollars for 4. 7 other families were walk ups also.

I asked the CM about the dessert party this past Saturday when I called in to change my resort and pay off the vaca. Like others have said, I was told to keep calling back to see if it will be extended.

Crossing my fingers for extending the event into early November.

7 HOURS?? Or was that a typo? Didn't you have to move out of the way for the parade? We haven't ever waited more than 20ish minutes and we've always been able to watch from pretty much anywhere we wanted

last year we stood in one spot on main street (near castle) for 7 hours to be able to see the fireworks.

That has to be a typo. I have never heard of anybody waiting that long unless they just wasted there day sitting there to see the FW. Can't Imagine.

I just saw your ticker. My wife and I are also going next Friday to celebrate our anniversary. Our first trip to Disney together WITHOUT the kids. I can't wait.

I was told they were not doing the Wishes dessert party on the 29th, so we are instead eating at the California Grill on the 30th to see the fireworks from there.

Oh I can see for Christmas Day but not on just a regular day. You be wasting so much time and missing out on so much.

I did. Still no dates for Sept. I got the cm who said she hasn't heard anything about it being extended. I will call back around 10 am.
