MK Extra Magic Hours - info please

There is a PM extra magic hours at MK on one of our days there.

For those who have done it, is it less crowded? What's the situation? Is it insanely crowded? We don't do early morning EMH, but the nighttime one is appealing.

We have FP booked for late afternoon/evening.
Should I keep the nighttime open?

Our plan is to arrive at MK around 3pm and stay until EMH ends. For those who have done this, any info is appreciated!

The few MK PM EMHs we’ve done we left with a somewhat unfavorable impression. Just seemed like normal crowds to me and no real benefit. But it’s later time in MK, which is never a bad thing.

A lot depends on the time of year and hours. Super late EMHs can offer lesser crowds than if it’s a time of year when hours are earlier.

It was nice that the park was open late but during our trip we had another day where MK was just open late, and the EMH was busier than the last couple hours of the regular late night closing. It's fun to be in the park late, but that seems to be the principal benefit of PM EMH to us, it's not any slower, to us it actually seemed a little busier. In MK at least there's stuff to do during PM EMH, Epcot just felt like everything was closed and we forgot to leave...

PM EMH at the MK are busier than during the day IMO. You figure that the other parks are closed and people are all looking to get as much out of their expensive vacation as they can. So they all rush to the MK.

We love the evening EMH at MK and always stay until the very end of them. We find the crowds very manageable and wait times less than during the day at MK. We've used them during trips in September, October, January and February.

Depends on how late the park is open. The later it's open the less people there will be

Emh from 8-10pm will see far more people than emh from 10-12am

Crowds will be lighter than during the day, but you likely won't see walk ons

There still is crowds, but not nearly as much as during the day. There will be lines beefier three attractions, but that's so CM can scan your magicband. We enjoy going to PM EMH, especially the really late ones. One year EMH was from midnight to 2 AM.
