What is the best way to handle MK on EE day? I am planning to attend e-nite later in the week also. I want to do some MK in the morning and then go to either AK or MGM in the afternoon. Not looking to do everything just wanted an idea of what not to miss. Thanks! :)

The following attractions are usually but not always opened for Extra Magic Hours at MK:
  • Main Street Vehicles
  • Astro Orbiter
  • Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
  • Space Mountain
  • ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter
  • Tomorrowland Indy Speedway
  • Tomorrowland Transit Authority
  • Cinderella's Golden Carrousel
  • Dumbo the Flying Elephant
  • "it's a small world"
  • Mad Tea Party
  • Peter Pan's Flight
  • Snow White's Scary Adventures
  • Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

I would skip the Main Street Vehichles and head to either Fantasyland or Tomorrowland, depending upon the age and tastes of the people in your group.

If you are doing an E-night at MK, the following attractions are usually open:
  • Space Mountain
  • Splash Mountain
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • Buzz Lightyear
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Alien Encounter
  • Astro Orbiter
  • Tomorrowland Transit Authority
  • Country Bear Jamboree

The attractions that are not available on E-nights (specifically all of Fantasyland) may influence which "land" you visit first on Extra Magic Morning.

In Tomorrowland, I would do ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter first as the line gets long quickly and there is no FastPass for it. The same goes for the Indy Speedway. Buzz and Space Mountain have FastPasses that you should grab as soon as you can.

If you head to Fantasyland first, hightail it to Dumbo if it's a priority. The line gets long and moves slowly. Also, there is no shade at Dumbo and it gets HOT later in the day. Pooh & Peter Pan have FastPasses and you should take advantage of them. Small World's line moves quickly so don't be intimidated by it.

You will not be able to do more than one "land" in the hour that you have, so choose either one or the other to visit during Extra Magic Morning. Also note that Frontierland and Adventureland are not open during EE.

...make a point to be near the Frontierland rope several minutes before it drops. You can then join the ZILLIONS of other trotting feet headed for Big Thunder, Splash or the Haunted Mansion.

We usually hot-foot it over to Splash, ride that, then segue quickly to BTM. We can usually get both those done in the first 15-20 minutes of Frontierland being open.
