Thanks. Have the reservation and expecting to be packed! Just wondering if those with any experience can offer any suggestions. You will need a reservation so can enter at any point. The earlier you arrive the better as the park will be at capacity.
If you’re not really going for the rides I would be in no hurry to get there first thing in the morning. I’d try to sleep in and have a late breakfast/early lunch at a resort. I’d probably show up early afternoon and spend the rest of the day and enjoy the evening there.Thanks. Have the reservation and expecting to be packed! They do Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime fireworks at the parties. Don't they start doing them in place of the normal MK fireworks on the 23rd of December? I sure hope so. We were planning to see them on Christmas night.Depends on what you’re trying to accomplish? If you want to maximize rides then go for rope drop (as early as possible). If you just want to see the parade, then a few hours before parade time and maybe bring a blanket to sit on while you wait in your fav spot. I don’t remember special fireworks for Christmas Day last year.
I don’t think they did them last year. I was pretty sad about it. Only way to see them was during the parties apparently. They did the Christmas parade during daytime hours over Christmas week at MK, but no Minnie’s fireworks. They do Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime fireworks at the parties. I've been searching online and it looks like you're right. That's too bad. I'm not as big a fan of the Minnie fireworks as I was the old Holiday Wishes anyway, but still. I'm glad about the parade though. I love the Christmas parade! Looking forward to that on Christmas Day!I don’t think they did them last year. I was pretty sad about it. I would love it if I’m wrong. We are going back over Christmas this year too.
Just an FYI, no clue what will happen this year but it did not reach capacity last year, as in, they never closed to hopping and of course, all guests with park reservations got inYou will need a reservation so can enter at any point. Yes, as shared in the Everything Park Hopping thread the only time a park closed for hopping was for a few hours on Oct 1, 2021.Just an FYI, no clue what will happen this year but it did not reach capacity last year, as in, they never closed to hopping and of course, all guests with park reservations got in
Sorry, then I misunderstood what you were saying in your post below, where you warned that park would be at capacity. What does capacity is this a warning about?Yes, as shared in the Everything Park Hopping thread the only time a park closed for hopping was for a few hours on Oct 1, 2021.
Park reservations did fill for MK on Dec 25, 2021.

At capacity for park reservations. Major holidays have been reaching capacity since park reservations were introduced. The park will be busy in Christmas day. OP asked best time of day to arrive and I recommended Early. To accomplish the most possible Amy day of the year, the earlier you arrive the better!!Sorry, then I misunderstood what you were saying in your post below, where you warned that park would be at capacity. I kept waiting for the crowds at MK on 12/25 last year! Don't get me wrong, we were far from alone, but it was nothing like what we expected. I wanted to experience Christmas in the MK once in my life, and I am so glad we did. We rope dropped, got our photos on Main Street, grabbed breakfast at the bakery (husband and I sat at the plaza tables to enjoy our coffee and the atmosphere while our kids went off on rides), waited at the Adventureland bridge for when they opened at 9 (I think it was 9), were one of the first Jingle Cruise boats (one of our few must-dos for the day), rode Pirates and then headed to stake out a spot for the early parade (11am kickoff, I think). We had fantastic viewing in Liberty Square and just enjoyed the atmosphere of the park afterward. It really was magnificent!Just an FYI, no clue what will happen this year but it did not reach capacity last year, as in, they never closed to hopping and of course, all guests with park reservations got in
