Can anyone give me any reviews on the liberty tree tavern character dining in the MK. We usually go to the crystal palace but wanted to try something diff.

THanks

HI We've eaten here twice both times before MVMCP. I love it and so does my husband and son. The charecter interaction was great and we liked the food. It is simple a salad, rolls and a plate of turkey, ham and beef I think. Nothing special but certainly tastey. We also had macaroni and cheese, green beans that were out of this world and another side dish I just can't remember but it was all good. We had apple cobbler with ice cream for dessert. I would say if your looking for a wonderful out of this world meal go to Crystal Palace, but if looking for a good hearty meal this is great. It's also served family style not buffet so that's a plus. Everyone waits in Lobby and they call you in by name and state, it's kind of cute. Hope this helps.

We like the Liberty Tree for dinner a lot. It's very cute the way they call each state when you're seated. The food is pretty basic, but yummy. Even picky eaters should do fine here. The characters are adorable in their colonial garb. And, our experience has been that the characters here are more playful than at other places. We do also love the Crystal Palace, but always hit there for breakfast.

We love LTT. The characters are Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale. The food is an all you can eat family style--if you want more of anything, they will bring it. The salad and raspberry dressing is excellent. Rolls, standard beverages, turkey, dressing, flank steak, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, mac and cheese. The dessert changes periodically--last time it was a fruit cobbler with ice cream.

The atmosphere is supposed to be continental US. The rooms are named for famous Americans. You will be called as "The Jones family from Virginia" or whatever for your seating. If you eat early, one family is chosen to "open" the restaurant. You ring a bell and declare the place open--kinda fun. CMs took good pictures.
We really like it--go there each trip. You don't have the selection of the buffet, but the setting is nicer and the food is better.

We ate there in March, and I'll reiterate what the other posters have said...The food was good, though basic. We like dressing, mashed potatoes, turkey, etc, so we enjoyed the meal. The characters were fun and each one came by us a couple of times, though we were there pretty early for dinner.

My little pet peeve with the place is that, since the setting seems to be around the late 18th Century, they really shouldn't be announcing states that didn't exisit in 1790 or so. Instead of being announced as from Ohio, we should have been announced as from the Northwest Territory, or something like that.
