Anyone there now or can remember how much the large double Mickey head and light up double Mickey head balloons cost?

We paid $10 or $15 for the one we got DD a few years ago. That thing lasted for months! and she kept the mickey head weights that were attached at the bottom and uses them for any regular balloons she gets here at home that don't have a weight.

She has already asked for another one when we go in September and we told her she'd have to use her own gift card money for it.

Thank you! Sadly we won't be able to take them on plane home with us but she'll love them when we're there at least

I have seen a family leaving had given the balloon to one arriving knowing they can not take it on the plane. Thought that was very nice and if they last for months think how many special interactions that would create.

I think it is awesome you gave it away!

In the past I would remove the air on the last morning before flying home, fold it up and put it in my suitcase. Once home I would inflate it again. I have experience with helium tanks and inflating balloons, and the Mickey head inside another balloon is quite tricky..if you ever decide to go this route.

I am a big kid, and never was allowed to get a Disney balloon as a child.

One word of warning: do not try to take it on a dCL cruise, it will be taken and popped. I was told they were stored and that was a lie...FYI.

Theme park merchandise pricing hardly ever surprises me, but I will admit the light up balloon price blew me away. I guess I hadn't priced balloons in awhile, my nephew wanted the light up one. I said yes, imagining it would be 10 bucks at most. Imagine my surprise when they were $15! It wasn't a big deal, as I had only the one child with me, and apart from digging through my backpack for another five dollars, it wasn't inconvenient, but all I could think was "OMG if you had three kids, having to have close to $50 budgeted for BALLOONS is insane."
I will say though, the thing did last forever and even after its death, the LED wand still works now over a year later.

On our way to wait for Magical Express to the airport, we gave our balloon away to an adorable little girl and her dad who were on their way to breakfast. As we were walking off, we heard the dad tell the little girl that getting a balloon like that was "magical." "Magical" is the word DD15 and I always use when we're talking about Disney, so it was special to us that he would describe it that way. It made them happy to get the balloon, and it brought us some happiness while we were in the departure doldrums.

I wonder how the balloon lit up - well be buying several so I'll definitely have to keep one for the wand!
