MK bakery, chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich??

Hey guys!

Just wondering if I am still able to get a fresh chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream sandwich at the bakery on Main Street?

Ive been dreaming of it...any idea? or pics!!

No longer available at MSB. You can get it at Sleepy Hollow or the Plaza ice cream shop.

The Plaza Ice Cream shop is just an ice cream counter service place...you just get in line and order your ice cream sandwich

The Plaza restaurant is next door, is waiter-service and usually takes a reservation during busier times of the day and year. Last time I was at The Plaza restaurant, ice cream cookie sandwiches were not on their menu...they had things like Brownie Sundaes for dessert.

It's the very last "shop" on the right (tomorrowland side) of Main Street. The ice cream cookie sandwich is amazing and there's plenty of seating nearby overlooking Cinderella Castle. I stop there at least once every trip. Plus this snack is great for sharing as it's so massive.

You can get them at the All Stars' food courts, too. They are amazing (and huge!)

Adding a Starbucks somewhere else in MK wouldn't have been as bad - but taking away the Main St Bakery is just plain awful!!!!

I will ALWAYS miss that wonderful spot - our Main Street Bakery! They had the best choc chip cookies in the whole world!

It's always been a tradition for us to sit at the tables outside the Plaza and look at the castle, too, but there are fences up now that block any view. We were sad that we had to break our tradition on our trip last week.

Mm, that sounds so good and isn't a snack I'd considered before now. I think I will try one on my next trip. Thanks for the info-- I didn't know about The Plaza snack counter! I certainly wish I could have had an ice cream cookie sandwich and cinnamon roll from MSB before it converted.

I agree that Starbucks wouldn't bother me at all if it didn't replace an already beloved place. I actually enjoyed having a pumpkin scone at the Starbucks in Epcot during late September.
