We are going down this December and plan on going to the MVMCP, and I wanted to have a late lunch at a MK area resturant, then enter the park at 4pm. Any one have suggestions for a good lunch place????

We tried Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch in September. It was our first time to try it and it was very good.

We enjoyed The Wave. It was one of our best lunches all week, the service was great and the settling was wonderful.

I suggest the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian resort. Wonderful food and a great atmosphere.

Another vote for Kona at the Poly. I love the food there. DH could eat the chicken wings every day.

We really enjoyed the Kona Cafe at the Poly. It was easy to get to from the Magic Kingdom and the food was very good. There was something for everyone (even my picky 4 year old!) on the menu.

We'd choose either the Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona. The GF is a little nicer and quieter atmosphere. Kona has good food but is not that attractive and the noise from the Poly lobby can get loud.

I'll look into the Wave, since it is new, but it looks like the Kona Cafe is the winner!
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions!!!

I just wanted to add that the GF Cafe has THE best cobb salad I've ever had! It is truly a "big salad"!

I don't know about the restaurants, but since you are going in December, you may want to go to Grand Floridian so you can see the gingerbread house they do every year.

I agree with the many Kona lovers. And to think I used to think this place was Disney's best kept secret.

On your way over to MK jump off the monorail at the GF to see the decorations. It will be worth the little detour.

ok............not cheap..........cuz U are in Disney, but I think its decently priced, and delish!:)
