I agreed about the dark grey suits. I think it would go very well with the BM dresses. Navy could work, too.

What time is the ceremony? If it's earlier in the day, maybe a lighter color, and if it's in the evening maybe the darker grey.

And although you are leaning away from the brown, I think lighter tan suit would look good- because it would coordinate with the cowboy boots?

I have been meaning to make a comment on your PJ for a while now!

First of all let me say your photos are beautiful! The engagement photoshoot is something that we dont really do in the UK but your pictures make me want to change your mind - I like the fact you have included your gorge horse in the action.

I love the bridesmaid dress idea with the cowboy boots! I read somewhere in a magazine a country wedding idea for a ring bearer to bring the rings to the couple on a little cutting of a tree... Like a round disk! I thought the idea was quite nice.

Any way... I also think the time will FLY by until we get married!

I'm so excited! Today we booked a 5 night Bahamian cruise on the Disney Dream!!!!!!!!!!! I've never been on a cruise before and I'm am sooooooooo over the moon about this. I'm going to have to get something for motion sickness but I don't care!!! hahahaha So we'll spend a few days before the wedding hanging out with friends and family in the parks. The wedding is on Monday April 2 and then we leave on Thursday April 5 for the bahamas!!!

Any advice for us first time sailors?

I'm going on my first cruise in April so I'll let you know!!

I get mild motion sickness on planes and small boats, and I can't handle simulated motion rides (like Star Tours). I am planning on being prepared for this cruise: I am bringing dramamine, ginger tablets, a pressure band (bracelet) and getting a prescription patch from my doctor. I figure that at least one of those should work if I end up needing something!

I have never heard of stugeons tablets, so maybe they aren't available here?

Lol!! Thank you! It has been a while hasn't it!

Well, tomorrow, we finally, after months and months and months of waiting, will reach the 1 year mark!!! Wooo, I never thought it would come!

We just received our LOA today so we'll either fax it back tomorrow or on Monday. I also just received our contract from Simply Cinematic. So there's another check off the list! Everything's starting to come together.

On wed's I went to Priscilla of Boston to get remeasured for my dress. I lost 12lbs and was determined to have a smaller dress made. Unfortunately, it hasn't made a huge difference in clothing size (How unfair, right!? lol). Oh well, I'm going to keep at it. I would like to loose at least another 15-20lbs before the wedding. I have a year, don't I! Maybe, the date coming will motivate me to not slack off and keep away from those peanut butter m&m's I love so much.

Now, I need to start contacting officiants. I was going to originally go for Rev. Miller because he always looks so smiley and friendly in all the pics and video's I've seen. However, when I contacted him he said he doesn't even talk to brides till 6 months out. Hmph, that's no good for someone like me who likes to have things completed and taken care of as soon as possible. I don't want to have the stress of wondering if he'll be available for my wedding so I'm going to contact my second choice. Rev Tim Herring. He seems nice and I like the ceremonies I've seen with him in it. Also, I'm pretty sure he'll book now so now waiting! lol. I really need to learn to have faith and patience.

I really will try to to a better job of keeping my pj updated. I've been busy with work and I have an upcoming horseshow that I'm entering my 3yr old horse in. It will be his first one so that's been taking a lot of my time. Not to mention now that Tangled came out I can't keep myself from watching it. I need to get a life, hahaha. I've watched it 11 times since it came out on Tuesday. But, I'm still in love with it. Now, I'm sitting here pondering how I made it through life all those years without Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. I also wonder if Rapunzel likes her new married name of "Rapunzel FitzHerbert".

So I've been a pretty busy girl. I've been working with my young horse Henry (he just turned 3yrs old at the end of February) preparing for his first show, which was yesterday!


I'm not sure if you're interested in horses and horse shows but I'd thought I'd share anyway.

Henry did very well; I'm so proud of him. We had to scratch a couple of classes due to the weather. It was down pouring all day (of course) but we were able to do 4 of them. We placed 2nd in two classes and 3rd in the other two.

lol, now onto wedding news. We got our wedding planner Diane Bowen. I haven't spoken with her, personally yet, but she seemed nice from the message she left me.

I also ordered my hair floral and my card box.

this is my hair floral. they're also making a couple tiny replica's I plan on placing through out my hair....kind of like rapunzel (of course!)
