4th stay at Gf upcoming. Have never been to Mizzners; Is this a possible good spot to watch the Eagles win the superbowl? Any info on this location, etc. would be appreciated.
Mizner's, if I'm not mistaken, has a couple of TV's. It's rather sedate, so I'm not sure it's the righ tplace to watch a raucous affair like the Superbowl. However you probably won't be alone.
If you're on the MK monorail loop, I suspect the Contemporary's Outer Rim Lounge, which has a huge widescreen TV, will better suit your needs. And you can order football munchies: wings, mozzarella sticks, etc.
I was just finishing tea at the GF a couple years back when a CM friend called me to tell me about the Northeast blackout--this is when it first began and there was concern it was terrorism. I went to Mizners recalling there was a small TV there.
It has a small tv on one end of the bar--not really intended to be a place to watch the superbowl though. You won't be able to see the TV from about 70% of the lounge.

I can't believe it - you were there exactly the same time as us. We didn't even hear about the blackout until around 4:00 because we were checking in that day and were getting settled in our room. DH loves to stop at Mizner's in the late afternoon. Perhaps we'll run into each other at some point!
Poor misguided souls - Pats are unstoppable! LOL! But just to add my two cents, we went to Mizners (sp?) for the first time in September and it really doesn't feel like a place to watch a game.
If the Tambu Lounge in the Poly has a TV (and I can't remember if it does - not after a few Mai Tai's anyway!), that would be a fun place to watch it!
The best place on property to watch that type of sporting event is the ESPN club. I watched one of the games of the World Series there a few years ago and it was great!I would get there early though cause i am sure it will be busy.
