I just made up the 25 posts minimum earlier so there wouldn't be any random people coming on this thread, making 20+ garbage posts within an hour's time, and claiming they can be one of the righteous few. I'm smart like that sometimes.

For the record (and so y'all can't say I took the money and ran WHEN I get lucky tonight), here's the first three numbers (just bought a ticket 10 minutes ago):

08-11-23-??-??-??

"08" is good because I was born in August (8th month).

"11" is good because that's the length of one of my body parts (not saying which one, I'll leave that up to your imagination).

"23" is good because I was once 23, and it's my bust measurement.

So, see - we're halfway there.

Hello! I'm up for just a couple. I have to show some progress on my March trip report. Or else. Or so I've been told.

I had an all-day materials science seminar today. It could have been boring, but the speaker was realy good & engaging. He even managed to drop two 'f-bombs' in the course of the day's lecture too. Not easy to do when you're talking about materials engineering. Lunch was good too!

Does this guy travel?
Can he slip a few 'f-bombs' into a lecture on post & beam structures of the 18th century?
I would pay to see the rows of disdainful or fainting scholars

Embarrasing story... I'll share for your entertainment needs.

One event in rodeo is team roping. One person ropes the front, the other person ropes the heels. So to practice the kids are always trying to throw the perfect loop. Well, one day when Ethan was 6, he decided to practice on MOMMY. I'm busy walking down to the barn and Ethan throws the loop in front of my feet, and jerks out the slack. Yup, mom goes face first in the dirt.

When I told dh what he did, dh replies very excitedly "Did he catch both of your feet or just one?!?!" He was more impressed with his roping skills than my embarrasing moment. Truth be told, I would have died laughing if it would have been dh and not me, so I can't say much.
